Mark Tremonti is an American musician and songwriter, well known as the founding member and lead guitarist of the American rock bands Creed and Alter Bridge, alongside collaborations with other artists. Tremonti was born in April 1974 and grew up in a Roman Catholic family in Grosse Pointe, just outside Detroit. After attending freshman year in South Carolina university to major in finance, Tremonti enrolled in Flordia State University where he he previously met future Creed bandmate Scott Stapp.

Buying his first guitar at eleven years old, Tremonti has received positive recognition as a guitarist and songwriter, receiving a Grammy Award for Creed’s single “With Arms Wide Open” and given the title as “Guitarist Of The Year” for three consecutive years by Guitar World and listed as the fourth greatest heavy metal guitarist of all time in Total Guitar magazine 2011. Tremonti has since seen the release of his debut solo album “All I Was” in 2012 and is preparing for his UK tour beginning in February of next year. Check below for tour dates and tickets.
