Moby—real name Richard Hall—is a singer-songwriter, DJ and producer from New York City, New York.
Widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in 1990s electronic music, he has released 21 albums across his hugely successful career. Notable releases include 1999's 'Play', which saw him break into the mainstream, 2002's platinum-selling LP '18', and his most recent studio serving, 'Resound NYC', which arrived in 2023. He has received countless honours and accolades for his work, including six Grammy nominations, two BRIT nominations and the DanceStar Award for Outstanding Contribution to Dance Music, and has collaborated with the likes of Gwen Stefani, Kelis, Debbie Harry, Midge Ure and A$AP Rocky. Moby will return to the stage to celebrate the 25th anniversary of 'Play', taking over The O2 London and O2 Apollo in Manchester in September 2024 as part of a wider European run.
