Modest Mouse are an American indie-rock band hailing from Issaquah, Washington. Modest Mouse was formed back in 1993 by frontman Isaac Brock, drummer Jeremiah Green, and bassist Eric Judy, who remain the only constant members of the band. They’re currently joined by Joe Plummer and Tom Peloso, and touring guitarist Jim Fairchild.

Their debut album ‘This Is a Long Drive for Someone with Nothing to Think About’ came out in 1996, and they’ve progressively seen more commercial success; they first charted in the US with 2000’s ‘The Moon & Antarctica’, broke into the Top 20 with ‘Good News for People Who Love Bad News’ in 2004, and hit #1 in 2007 with ‘We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank’.
