Polly Jean Harvey, also known as PJ Harvey has been on the winning end of many an award during her career. In 2011 she was awarded the Mercury Music Prize, she has notched up seven BRIT awar nominations, five Grammy Award nominations as well as a further two Mercury Music Prize Nominations.

She was named Rolling Stone's 'Best New Artist and Best Singer Songwriter' in 1992 and 1995 saw her pick up the 'Artist of the Year' acolade as well as two of her albums, 'Rid of Me' and 'To Bring You My Love' being placed on Rolling Stone's '500 Greatest Albums of All Time' list! Thats not all however, Q Magazine rated her the Number One female rock artists in a 2002 reader poll!
