Portrait are a heavy metal outfit hailing from Sweden. Formed in 2006, the band consists of Per Lengstedt, guitarists Christian Lindell and David Olofsson, bassist Cab Castervall, and drummer Anders Persson.
Signed to Metal Blade Records, Portrait would put out their self-titled debut album in 2008, and quickly became one of the most respected heavy metal bands in the underground scene - the LP even earned their deal with Metal Blade. That record was followed-up with the critically acclaimed ‘Crimen Laesae Majestatis Divinae‘ in 2010.
