Pulp are one of Britain’s truly great indie outfits. They kicked off their career in Sheffield in 1978, but really rose to prominence in the 1990s, where they found fame with albums ‘His n Hers’ and more so ‘Different Class’. After that, they continued to dominate the British charts - selling 10 million records - until 2002, when they began a hiatus.

Nine years later, and the band inevitably got back together once again for a number of festival performances, with frontman Jarvis Cocker claiming it was ‘inspiration’ to see such an interest in the band’s revival. A year later again, and Cocker is working on ‘ideas’ for new tracks - and will be making an epic comeback with a gig where it all began in Sheffield late in 2012.
