Rah Rah, is a Canadian indie rock band from Saskatchewan consisting of gutairist and vocalist Marshall Burns, violinist, keyboard player and vocalist, Kristina Hedlund, drummer and vocalist Erin Passmore, vocalist and bass player Joel Passmore and drummer and vocalist Jeffrey Romanyk.
The group formed in 2006, as a trio, and released their EP ‘Songs for Pasquala’, and played at Regina Folk Festival and Pop Montreal. By 2007, they had become a five piece, and they released their debut album, ‘Going Steady’, in 2008, on Young Sould Records, toured extensively in Canada. They released, ‘Breaking Hearts’ in 2010, and signed to Hidden Pony Records two years later, thorugh which they released their third record, ‘The Poet's Dead’. Their fifth album, ‘Vessels’ came out in 2015, and the band are set to play three UK shows, as part of their European tour in December.
