Lebanon-born singer-songwriter-musician Serj Tankian is an Armenian-American superstar/psychopath that’s probably best known for his role as frontman of world-famous metal outfit System of a Down. Now plying his trade as a solo musician (though System are now performing once again), he’s released three albums - and his big plans for some more.

Though best known as a heavy metal maestro, Tankian has an eclectic taste when it comes to writing and recording, and his own music contains elements of jazz, classical, and every other genre imaginable. His latest rock record ‘Harakiri’ came out in summer 2012, but 2013 will apparently see the release of a trilogy of albums: one jazz, one classical, one an electronic concept album. And of course, with this much material, one must tour - and tour he will.
