Shattered Skies are an English progressive metal outfit based in Southend-on-Sea. Formed in 2011, the band consists of frontman Sean Murphy, guitarist Ian Rockett, bassist Jim Hughes, and drummer Ross McMahon.
Putting together their first EP, 'Reanimation', within their first months as a band, and receiving critical acclaim across the board, the lads knew they were on to something special, and haven taken their foot of the gas since. Having played festivals across Europe and shared the stage with the likes of Dimmu Borgir, Machine Head, Scar Symmetry, SikTh, and Alice Cooper, Shattered Skies next set their sights on a studio album.
