Skeletal Family are an English gothic rock outfit hailing from Keighley, West Yorkshire. First formed in 1982 by frontwoman Anne Marie-Hurst, guitarist Stan Greenwood, and bassist Roger ‘Trotwood’ Nowell, the band currently also consists of Owen Richards and Adrian Osadzenko on second guitar and drums respectively.
First signing with indie label Red Rhino Records, they would release two popular albums in ‘Burning Oil’ and ‘Futile Combat’, storming the UK Independent charts. Fast-forward to today, and they’ve gone through a number of break-ups, labels, a load of line-up changes, and two more LPs - however, Marie-Hurst, Greenwood, Nowell and the rest of the bunch are back and have lined-up a handful of gigs for October 2014.
