Starz is an American hard rock/power pop outfit hailing from New Jersey. Formed in 1975, it currently consists of Michael Lee Smith, Richie Ranno, Joe. X. Dube, Steve DeAcutis, and George DiAna.
Still running to this day, despite years of disbandments and a lack of commercial success, Starz have become somewhat of a cult band over the years, acquiring and adoring fanbase. Despite the aforementioned lack of commerical success, Starz still managed to influence many bands (even names like Motley Crue and Twister Sister).
