Tall Ships are an English math rock band from Brighton, consisting of frontman Rich Phethean, bassist and keyboard-player Matt Parker, and drummer Jamie Bush.
Formed in 2010, the band signed to Big Scary Monsters and released their eponymous debut EP, followed by a second EP, ‘There is Nothing But Chemistry Here’. The released their debut album, ‘Everything Touching’ in 2012 and they are set to release their second album, ‘Impressions’, via Fat Cat Records, on February 10, 2017. The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK, as well as supported Lonely The Brave. Tall Ships have since announced their break-up, and will be playing three farewell shows in December.
