The 2 Bears are an English dance music and ‘indietronica’ outfit hailing from London. Formed in 2009, the band consists of Hot Chip lad Joe Goddard and Raf Rundell, a former chief at Sony BMG subsidiary 1965 Records.
Creating music that blends elements of house, garage, pop, and hip-hop, they’ve become one of the country’s most popular alternative dance acts, receiving support from the likes of Fearne Cotton, Rob Da Bank, Kissy Sell Out, and Annie Mac, while they even host their own Ministory of Sound radio show Follow the Bears. The band release their second record ‘The Night is Young’ (following up 2012’s ‘Be Strong’) in September 2014 - catch them supporting it with four UK gigs the following month!
