The Lambrettas are an English mod revival outfit hailing from Brighton. Formed in 1979, it currently consists of frontman Doug Sanders, guitarist Phil Edwards, bassist Chris Venzi-James, and drummer Paul Wincer.
Named after one of the major mod moped manufacturers, The Lambrettas would put out their debut album, 'Beat Boys In The Jet Age', in 1981, a record which proved popular. With their follow-up, 'Ambience', not as well received, they called time on the band in 1982. However, there have been reunions since then, and in 2015, they played UK shows celebrating the 35th annivesary of their first LP, where they played it in full.
