Arizona-based alternative rockers The Maine are a five-piece rock group who formed in 2006, after bassist Garrett Nickelsen and drummer Pat Kirch decided to get together and form a group. Enlisting a group of very-abled musicians - that now consists of John O'Callaghan, Kennedy Brock, and Jared Monaco as well as Pat and Garrett - the band released their debut album ‘Can’t Stop Won’t Stop’ in 2008’.
Hitting #4 in the US Independent charts, it paved the way for a hugely successful follow-up in 2010’s ‘Black and White’, an album which won them ‘Album of the Year’ in the AP Magazine Reader’s Awards that same year.
