The Saints are an Australian rock band hailing from Brisbane, Queensland. Formed in 1974, the band currently consists of founding member and frontman Chris Bailey, guitarist Barry Francis, and drummer Peter Wilkinson.
Considered one of the pioneering punk bands in the genre's earliest days - they were the first punk group to release a record outside of the US - The Saints would go on to live through decades of an ever-changing line-up, an often-moving home country (they lived in Sweden and Holland amongst other places), and a constantly-evolving sound. The band released 'King of the Sun / King of the Midnight Sun' in November 2014, and are still gigging when they can - catch them playing three intimate Melbourne gigs in October 2016!
