The Strypes are an Irish rhythm and blues rock band from Cavan, featuring Ross Farrelly, Josh McClorey, Pete O'Hanlon and Evan Walsh.
Formed in 2008, the band released their debut EP, ‘Young, Gifted & Blue’, in April 2012, while still in school. Their debut album ‘Snapshot’, came out in 2013 and hit #2 in the Irish Album Chart and #5 in the UK Albums Chart. The band’s second album, ‘Little Victories’, reached the top spot in Ireland. They are set to release their second album, ‘Spitting Image’, on June 16, 2017. Having just finished this summer's Spitting Image Tour, the band head out for October dates with their Great Expectations Tour in autumn. Refreshing young extremely musically talented band

My first uni gig. Not sure of exact date but am sure this band is a refreshing and energetic band and their talent is still growing. Loved Blue Collar Jane. A band to be appreciated by a wide age group, 15 up to 50+ due to their entertainment value and diversity. It was a couple of years ago but glad that they are still around and sounding even better. Well done lads
