The Temper Trap are an Australian indie pop from Melbourne, consisting of frontman Dougy Mandagi, keyboard-player and guitarist Joseph Greer, bassist Jonathon Aherne, and drummer Toby Dundas.
Formed in 2005, the band released their debut self-titled EP in 2006, followed by their debut album, ‘Conditions’ in 2009, which reached #29 in the UK Albums Chart, with the lead single, Sweet Disposition, hitting the Top Ten in the UK Singles Chart. This led to the band being nominated for Best International Breakthrough Artist at the Brit Awards. They released their second, self-titled album in 2012 and their latest album, ‘Thick as Thieves’, was released in June 2016. The band have headlined their own shows and tours in the UK and Australia, and have supported Coldplay, and performed at Dot to Dot, Field Day, Oxegen, Glastonbury, V, and Reading and Leeds festivals.
