Trevor Horn is a musician, singer-songwriter and producer from Durham.
Starting his music career as a session musician in the 1970s, he truly found success the following decade, earning him the nickname of The Man Who Invented The Eighties. An acclaimed songwriter, he has penned and produced tracks for Paul McCartney, Genesis, ABC, Grace Jones, Texas, Spandau Ballet, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Pet Shop Boys, Belle & Sebastian, Rod Stewart, Tori Amos, The Pretenders, Tina Turner, John Legend and countless other high-profile artists. As well as performing in YES and several other bands, he has released four of his own solo albums to date, the most recent being 'Echoes: Ancient & Modern' in 2023.
