Vampire Weekend are an American indie rock outfit hailing from New York. Fronted by Ezra Koenig, who performs alongside guitarist Rostam Batmanglij, drummer Chris Tomson, and bassist Chris Baio, the band formed in 2006, and have gone on to record three studio albums.

Their eponymous debut record came out in 2008, and has since turned platinum in the UK, hitting #15 and #17 in the UK and the US respectively. Their second record ‘Contra’ saw them find even more success, and it peaked at #1 in a number of countries across the world. 2013 sees their third ‘Modern Vampires of the City’ hitting shelves - and they’ve got three UK gigs and a set at Glastonbury to perform their new material live.
