hey did anyone else go to the festival?

they played a great set on the street stage, i was right up in the second row right in front of kelly. they were really good, even though me and my friends were the only ones who knew any of the words to the songs (from what i could see). nobody in the crowd really ever heard of them, but there were positive reactions to their music

the setlist was

1. Superman
2. Doorman
3. Brother
4. Madame Helga
5. Vegas Two Times
6. Local Boy
7. Devil
8. Dakota

vegas really rocked, all the songs were great, i was happy to see them play devil cause i didn't expect it for the short set. i'm guessing they played for like 30-40 minutes. the rest of the festival went great. They were scheduled to do this meet and greet thing at one of the tents at the festival around 4:00 (their set was started at 2:30). We were really excited to meet them and get their autographs and take a couple pics, BUT they cancelled it after their set, we asked one of the people at the tent what was up and they said that one of their people said they couldn't do it. So, that was disappointing, but overall a great experience, hopefully we'll get to meet them in PHILLY on Friday

Overall this Festival was amazing. Stereophonics rocked, too bad they played the street stage, would have loved to see them on the Main stage. I was kind of bummed that they cancelled their meet and greet. Coldplay, and Foo Fighters were great as always. Looking forward to the new Coldplay CD, they played a few songs from the CD during their set. I was totally blown away by Billy Idol, I have a new appreciation for him, he stole the whole show. If you ever have a chance to see Idol, I would definitely take it. I am seeing the phonics tonight in Philly, can not wait to get out of work.
