Wampire is an American indie-rock and synthpop duo hailing from Portland, Oregon. Formed in 2007, the pair - Eric Phipps and Rocky Tinder - made a name for themselves performing at house parties in their hometown, having become a popular fixture for their more electronic-orientated style. After changing direction slightly towards indie, the band became more serious and more studio work followed.
Signing a deal with Polyvinyl, the duo began work on their debut LP 'Curiosity' in 2012, and eventually released it in May the following year. The collection was extremely well received and saw positive reviews across the board - and helped them pick up fans across the world.
