Weezer is an American alt-rock and punk outfit hailing from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 1992, the band currently consists of three founding members - frontman Rivers Cuomo, guitarist Brian Bell, and drummer Patrick Wilson - alongside bassist Scott Shriner.
Weezer first hit the limelight with their hugely popular 1994 hit single Buddy Holly, though over the years they’ve released a load of smash hits - other favourites include Say It Ain't So, Undone – The Sweater Song, Island in the Sun, Beverly Hills, and 'Pork and Beans'. Having sold over 20million records worldwide, Weezer are truly one of America’s favourite garage-punk bands - look out for their brand new record ‘Everything Will Be Alright in the End’ in September 2014!
