Experimental rockers Yeasayer are a quintet hailing from Brooklyn, New York. Forming in 2006, the band’s three founding members - Chris Keating, Ira Wolf Tuton, and Anand Wilder - first entered the spotlight after appearing at the SXSW festival in early 2007, and went on to earn support slots alongside the likes of MGMT and Beck.
Their first two albums, 2007’s ‘All Hour Cymbals’ and 2010’s ‘Odd Blood’, helped them earn recognition worldwide, and managed to hit #64 and #63 in the UK and US Album charts respectively. 2012 sees the release of their third album ‘Fragrant World’, another milestone in the band’s career. Yeasayer have announced that the latest single to be taken from their acclaimed album 'Fragrant World', is the gothic and very addictive 'Reagan’s Skeleton’. Due for release on 26th November via Mute, ‘Reagan’s Skeleton’ has already been championed by Zane Lowe and Nick Grimshaw on Radio 1 and John Kennedy on Xfm.
Yeasayer have this afternoon unveiled the video for ‘Longevity’, directed by Timothy Saccenti, whose previous credits include Flying Lotus, Motor ft. Martin L. Gore, Usher and Animal Collective, amongst others.
