65daysofstatic are an English instrumental post-rock band from Sheffield, consisting of Joe Shrewsbury, Paul Wolinski, Rob Jones and Simon Wright.

Formed in 2001, the band released their debut album, 'The Fall of Math', came out in 2004 and was followed-up with 'One Time for All Time' the year after. In 2007 they released 'The Destruction of Small Ideas', followed by ‘,We Were Exploding Anyway’, in 2010, and ‘Wild Light’ in 2013. The band released the soundtrack for the video game No Man’s Sky in June 2016.
