Pete Doherty To Sell Fags Smoked By Amy Winehouse & Kate Moss

Wednesday, 26 June 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Babyshambles star Pete Doherty is reportedly planning to sell memorabilia - such as fags smoked by his close friend Amy Winehouse and his former lover Kate Moss - at a stall in Camden, according to a recent interview.

The controversial indie-rock star is apparently hoping to make some extra cash in his hometown by offering up some of the stuff he’s collected over the years - which also includes items from Bobby Gillespie and Coventry City goalkeeper Steve Ogrizovic. He told NME:

“I've got fag butts that belong to Bobby Gillespie, Kate Moss and Amy Winehouse, and I've got Christmas paper that Steve Ogrizovic sent to the guy from Black Sabbath. All kinds of shit basically.”

He then went on to talk about Babyshambles’ forthcoming new album, which is set for September - he said:

“It's a strong record. [Producer] Stephen Street has pulled it out of the bag, I think. And there's a special guest on one of the songs. We're not saying who it is yet but you'll like it.”

The band tour the UK in support of the new record - their first since 2007’s ‘Shotter’s Nation’ - throughout September and October. If you need any Babyshambles tickets, check the dates and links provided below to grab a pair through Stereoboard!

Morrissey - Low In High School (Album Review)
Fri 17 Nov 2017
In a music world too often occupied by blank, mundane personalities, Morrissey remains a torch bearer for political itchiness and introverted bombast. That said, 'Low in High School', his 11th solo album, is laced with borderline bigotry and libidinous ennui. This cantankerous bastard is clearly not dealing with ageing well.
