Afropunk is an music and arts festival based in Brooklyn, New York.
Founded in 2005, the festival aims to celebrate all things Black culture, from music to food to art and beyond, and has expanded to host festivals in cities all over the globe. In more recent years, it has hosted performances across the world from Burna Boy, The Roots, Earl Sweatshirt, Tems, Stonebwoy, Skillibeng, Anderson .Paak, Leon Bridges, Lizzo, Little Simz, Tyler The Creator, Daniel Caesar and SZA.
