Alabama Shakes Tickets, Tour Dates & Concerts 2024/2025 ♫

The Alabama Shakes are an American Southern rock outfit hailing from - you guessed it - Alabama. Formed in 2009. the band consists of frontman Brittany Howard, guitarist Heath Fogg, bassist Zac Cockrell, keyboard player Ben Tanner, and drummer Steve Johnson

Although they officially been together in ‘09, after Howard and Cockrell combined forces in high school, they would quickly make a name for themselves across the US, thanks to to their self-titled debut EP.

After a few performances earned them extra attention, they would go on to sign with Rough Trade and ATO Records, and put out their debut record, ‘Boys & Girls’, in 2012. That LP saw them become the first act ever to top the brand new UK Record Store Chart, as well as earning a Gold certification in lightning quick time.

Next up, Alabama Shakes put out their second record, 'Sound & Color', which hit #1 when it reached our ears in April 2015. Following two huge gigs at the O2 Academy Brixton in November, preceded by two Dublin shows earlier that month too, the band have now been announced to play British Summer Time in July 2016, following their April US tour, which is now set to continue later in the summer.
