Alessia Cara (a.k.a Alessia Caracciolo) is a Canadian singer/songwriter from Ontario.
She started a YouTube channel when she was 13, and upload videos of performing acoustic cover songs, and then signed to EP Entertainment and Def Jam Recordings at 18. She released her debut single, Here, in April 2015, and released an EP, ‘Four Pink Walls’ in August of the same year. Her debut album, 'Know-It-All' was released in 2016, the same year she was listed for the BBC Sound Award. She went on to put out 'The Pains Of Growing' in 2018, and an EP 'This Summer', is due in September 2019. Alessia Cara will support her new EP with headline tour dates in North America in 2019, after huge support slots with Shawn Mendes throughout the summer.
