Alexander Armstrong is an English comedian, actor, presenter, and singer best known for his half in the comedy duo Armstrong and Miller and as long serving presenter of the BBC's game-show 'Pointless'.
He turned his attention from television to music in 2013 when he started his own cover band, playing jazz, rock and pop classics. He's performed countless gigs to raise funds for various charities, and even has performed a commemorative performance for the Queen on Songs of Praise in 2015. His debut solo record, 'A Year of Songs' reached number 6 in the UK Albums Chart in 2015, and his second album, 'Upon a Different Shore' reached number 8 in 2016. His latest album was 2017's Christmas record 'In A Winter Light'. Alexander Armstrong has announced the All Mouth and Some Trousers tour throughout November 2019.
