Alice Chater is a pop vocalist from Kent. Growing up in the seaside town of Ramsgate, Chater used classical singing as a form of escape and eventually enrolled in the Italia Conte School in London at the age of 17, but was kicked out for not playing by the rules — going to writing sessions with producers when she should've been at school.
All this was useful though, as the hard work paid off. After a chance encounter with Will.i.am, he became a sort of mentor, and the record contract offers were rolling in. She signed with Virgin Records in the UK and Capitol in the US. Chater found success with her popular track GIRLS X BOYS, while her latest single Thief was released in January 2019.
