Amir Khan is a professional boxer from Bolton, England.
At the age of just 17, Khan won a silver medal in the lightweight division at the 2004 Olympics, becoming Britain's youngest boxing Olympic medallist. He made his professional debut against David Bailey in July 2005 as a Lightweight. He progress to Light Welterwight in 2009, Welterweight in 2013, Middleweight in 2016, before heading back down to Welterweight in 2017. Awards-wise, Khan is one of the youngest ever British professional world champions, winning the WBA title at the age of 22, and he's been nominated numerous times for various awards like 2011 BBC Sports Personality of the Year, Best at Sport at the British Muslim Awards, as well as receiving Pride of Performance from the President of Pakistan and ESPN Prospect of the year back in 2007.
