Terry Wogan is an Irish television and radio presenter hailing from Limerick. Born in 1938, he is one of the BBC flagship presenters and has become an iconic figure throughout the UK and Ireland, thanks to hosting shows like Blankety Blank, Children in Need, and previously, the Eurovision Song Contest.
Having also held down radio positions for over 20 years, including his old show Wake Up to Wogan, and his latest venture Weekend Wogan, it’s no surprise he is considered by many to be a national treasure.
