Anamanaguchi are an American chiptune-based band from New York.
Formed in 2004, they're one of the leading pioneers in the relatively new genre of chiptune, which combines guitars and computer-based programs with music made from game consoles like Gameboys and Nintendos! Tweaking their circuits to make crazy beeps and sounds, they manage to blend them with rock and indie, something which has earned them a fair amount of fame across the United States - they were also invited to create the soundtrack for the 2010 hit video-game inspired movie Scott Pilgrim vs The World. They released their debut album, 'Dawn Metropolis', in 2009, which has since been followed by 2013's 'Endless Fantasy' and 2019's '[USA]'.
