Are You Listening? Festival is a one-day multi-venue event, based in Reading town centre.
Founded in 2013, the festival works with the charity Reading Mencap, raising funds while supporting the local music scene. Its policy of ensuring at least 70% of the artists booked are from Reading and the surrounding Berkshire area. The event has previously played host to Ezra Furman, BC Camplight, Steve Lamacq, Idles, Yonaka, The Mysterines, C. Duncan, Pulled Apart By Horses, Sundara Karma, Billy Nomates, God Damn, Black Honey, The Amazons, Spring King, Kagoule, Billie Marten and many more. Are You Listening? Festival will return in May 2025, with headliners Sprints and Big Special, plus Benefits, Coach Party, Honeyglaze, Man/Woman/Chainsaw and more.
