Balthazar are an indie-rock band from Belgium consisting of Maarten Devoldere, Jinte Deprez, Simon Casier, Michiel Balcaen, and Tijs Delbeke.
Formed in 2004, they released their self-titled debut EP in 2006, but their first album, 'Applause', didn't arrive until 2010. They went on to put out 'Rats' in 2012 and 'Thin Walls' in 2015, which dropped at #1 and #2 in the Belgian charts, respectively. They followed up with 'The Fever' in 2019, and are set to release their new album 'Sand' in February 2021.
