Band of Horses are an indie rock band from Seattle, currently consisting of founding member Ben Bridwell, alongside Ryan Monroe, Matt Gentling and Creighton Barrett.
Formed in 2004, the band released their debut album, ‘Everything All the Time’, in 2006, via Sub Pop, followed by ‘Cease to Begin’ in 2007, which reached #35 in the Billboard Hot 200. The band’s third album,‘Infinite Arms’, came out in 2010 and saw the them gain a Grammy nomination and hit #7 in the chart. The band released their fourth studio album, ’Mirage Rock’, in September 2012 and their latest album, ‘Why Are You Ok?’, came out in June 2016.
The band headlined their own shows and tours across the USA and Europe, and have supported the likes of Iron & Wine, Pearl Jam, Snow Patrol, and Foo Fighters at Wembley Arena, as well as having performed at Glastonbury, T in the Park, SXSW, Splendour in the Grass, Reading and Leeds, and Pukkelpop festival.
Band of Horses said farewell to two members - Tyler Ramsey and Bill Reynolds - and welcomed back Matt Gentling, and are now back on the Horse tour-wise, travelling across the US in summer 2018.

It’s now a decade since Band of Horses’ debut, ‘Everything All The Time’, arrived to much acclaim. With every release since then, though, Ben Bridwell and his band have seemed to slip further and further away from the folky roots that initially drew their fans in.
