Basement are an English melodic hardcore band from Ipswich, consisting of Duncan Stewart, James Fisher, Ronan Crix, Andrew Fisher, and Alex Henery.
Formed in 2009, the band released their debut album, ‘I Wish I Could Stay Here’, in 2011, via Run For Cover Records, followed by their second LP, ‘Colourmeinkindness’, before disbanding in 2012. Returning in 2014, they released the EP in ‘Further Sky’ and a new album, ‘Promise Everything’ came out in January 2016. The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the USA and UK including a tour with Daylight and have supported Bring Me The Horizon. Basement returned in October 2018, with 'Beside Myself', their fourth record. They have UK and US dates set for summer 2019, following touring in Australia and Europe last year.
