Before Cars is the musical project of Chad Channing, the drummer who helped to bring Nirvana to the world by playing on ‘Bleach’, their debut. Growing from the musical collective Paundy, Before Cars finds Channing working with his own material and flitting between instruments, fronting the band and revisiting songs that, in some cases, date back to his Nirvana days.
Fleshed out by Paul Burback, Andy Miller and Justine Jeanotte, the band released their Jack Endino-produced debut, ‘Walk Back’ in 2009 and followed it with a European tour.
