Belako are a post punk band from Munguía in Spain. Although most of their songs are sung in English, some are sung in Basque. Formed in 2011, they were initially inspired by the new-wave sounds of the 1980s, but have developed into a post-punk sound.
Their debut album 'Eurie' was released in 2013, followed a year later by two EPs, 'Bele Beltzak, Baino Ez' and 'AAAA !!!!'. 2016 saw the release of 'Hamen', and their latest, 'Render Me Numb, Trivial Violence' dropped in February 2018. They've toured around Europe and the UK, with a string of European festival slots to their name too. Belako have announced four headlining UK shows for September.
