Bernie Marsden is an English rock and blues guitarist primarily known for his work with Whitesnake, having written or co-written with David Coverdale many of the group's hit songs, such as Fool for Your Loving, Walking in the Shadow of the Blues and the multi-million selling chart-topper Here I Go Again.
He started his career in the 1970s, playing in a handful of different bands, before forming Whitesnake in '78. His time in Whitesnake, and his legacy of songs, remains in the forefront of his musical career, having played on the first seven albums with them.
While in Whitesnake, he released two solo albums - 'And About Time Too!' in 1979 and 'Look at Me Now' in 1981. He's released over 15 more solo album since then, up until his latest 'Shine' in 2014.
