Bishop Gunn is a rock'n'roll, soul and blues band from Natchez, Mississippi. The group consists of vocalist Travis McCready, Drew Smithers on guitar, Ben Lewis on bass and Burne Sharp on drums.
The band gained significance after appearing on Kid Rock's 8th annual 'Chillin The Most Cruise' in 2017, going on to do commercial film for Southern Comfort and spending the summer touring around the US, as well as playing festivals like Pilgrimage and Laid Back. Bishop Gunn released their debut full-length album 'Natchez' in May 2018, entering the Billboard charts as the #4 Blues Album and also appearing as #8 on their Heatseekers South Central chart. Later in 2018, they played SXSW and supported Blackberry Smoke, Marcus King Band and Whiskey Myers. They now have London and Dublin headline shows in the diary for 2019.
