Black Marble is the moniker of electronic musician Chris Stewart, from Brooklyn, New York.
Formerly a two-piece that featured Ty Kube of Team Robespierre, Black Marble were signed to independent label Hardly Art after releasing just one song. Their debut album 'A Different Arrangement' dropped in 2012, with their second, 'It's Immaterial' following in 2014. This marked the departure of Ty Kube, and Stewart's new beginnings as a solo artist. After migrating to Sacred Bones Records, he released his third album, 'Bigger Than Life' in 2019, with a fourth titled 'Fast Idol' due out in October 2021.
