bad security,band encouraged thuggish behavior
Cardiff Cardiff Motorpiont Arena on October 28 2014
Saw Black Stone Cherry supported by Airbourne at Cardiff Motorpoint arena. Airbourne encouraged grown men in the crowd to act crazy, barging into each other and other people in the crowd in a 'mosh-pit' style. This also included throwing full cans at the crowd. There were many people at the gig of all ages, including children, and I don't believe that everyone wanted to get hit in the face by these huge men.
This concert was for everyone, everyone who bought a ticket, but it seemed to me that the only ones that were supposed to enjoy it were these thugs. If the bands want to play their music just for these type of people, then I will not be buying or listening to any of their music. As far as security at the venue was concerned, there didn't seem to be any. I didn't feel very safe, I was supposed to be enjoying myself. If Black Stone Cherry endorses this kind of thing, as well as the venue, then I wont be attending another event or associate myself with their music.
