Black Submarine is an English rock band that formed back in 2008. Previously known as Black Ships, a moniker they modified in 2012, the band is somewhat of a supergroup: frontman Nick McCabe and bassist Simon Jones are ex-Verve members, and they’re joined by singer Amelia Tucker, Davide Rossie - who’s worked with Coldplay and Goldfrapp - on strings, and drummer Mig Schillace.
