Twenty One Pilots have continued their ‘Trench’ story with a video for Nico and the Niners.
The duo kicked off the album’s accompanying video trilogy in early July with Jumpsuit, their first new music since the release of their fourth album ‘Blurryface’ in 2015, which went on to become the fastest rising number one single of the decade on Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart in the US.
Where Jumpsuit’s video was set in the wildnerness, part two finds Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun in an urban environment with a whole new wave of symbolism and messages for fans to unpack and decode. Take a look at both videos below.
It’s not known how long we’ll have to wait for the final part of the three-clip series. In the meantime, fans can look forward to ‘Trench’ arriving via Fueled By Ramen on October 5.
The duo will support the release with the Bandito world tour, which includes stops in the UK and Ireland, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and North America. Tickets are on sale now.
