Calvin Harris and Kasabian will headline this year’s V Festival at Hylands Park in Essex and Weston Park, Staffordshire, over the weekend of August 22 and 23. Other acts confirmed for the weekender include Stereophonics, Sam Smith, the Script, Ellie Goulding, Paloma Faith, Olly Murs, Hozier, Courteeners, Nero, George Ezra, Tom Jones and many more. Tickets are on sale at 9am on March 6, priced from £89.00 plus fees.
Calvin Harris will headline Tennent’s Vital in Belfast and the Glasgow Summer Sessions this summer. The superstar DJ will top the bill at Boucher Playing Fields on August 30 before heading to Bellahouston Park the following day. Harris also headlines alongside Kasabian at this summer’s V Festival. The Strokes are the lastest headliners confirmed for the British Summer Time series at Hyde Park in London. Joining the New Yorkers on June 18 will be Beck, Future Islands, Temples, Public Service Broadcasting, The Wytches, Hinds, Gengahr, Yak and Kieran Leonard. Tickets are on sale at 9am on March 6.
David Gilmour will return with a new solo record and play live for the first time in almost a decade later this year. Fresh from the release of ‘The Endless River’, the Pink Floyd guitarist will call at London’s Royal Albert Hall on September 23, 24 and 25. Tickets are on sale at 10am on March 6.
Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer will celebrate 25 years in comedy with a new UK tour this winter. The duo will embark on their first live tour in 17 years between November 11 and December 4, calling at arenas and concert halls in Glasgow, Newcastle, Liverpool, Manchester, Blackpool, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bristol, Portsmouth, Plymouth, Sheffield, Ipswich, Nottingham and Brighton. Tickets are on sale at 9am on March 6.
