The War On Drugs have announced a new album, ‘I Don’t Live Here Anymore’, along with accompanying North American, UK and European shows for 2022. Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 10am local time on July 23.

The trek commences in the United States in January before expanding across the UK and Europe in the spring, with concerts confirmed in Birmingham, Dublin, Leeds, Edinburgh and London, where they’ll play the iconic O2 Arena on April 12.

Chvrches

The trio will tour the UK next spring, calling at Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange, Newcastle’s O2 City Hall, London’s O2 Academy Brixton, the O2 Academy Birmingham, and Manchester’s O2 Apollo between March 14 and 19. Tickets go on general sale at 9.30am on July 23.

The shows will follow the release of their fourth studio album, ‘Screen Violence’, due out on August 27 via EMI in the UK and Glassnote in the US.

James Blunt

The singer-songwriter will hit the road in February 2022, with stops planned in Brighton, Manchester, Cardiff, Hull, Birmingham, Nottingham, Glasgow and London, where he’ll perform at the SSE Arena Wembley. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on July 23.

The shows will support Blunt’s upcoming greatest hits album, ‘The Stars Beneath My Feet (2004-2021)’, due out on November 19 via Atlantic Records.

James Morrison has lined up a 22-date Greatest Hits Tour between March 10 and April 10, kicking off in Southend and culminating in Glasgow. Nick Cave and his long-time Bad Seeds bandmate and frequent collaborator have lined up 20 UK shows for later in 2021, kicking off in Poole on September 2 and culminating at Brighton Dome on October 10. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on July 23.

The London rapper will play an exclusive full band show at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on August 11 in aid of War Child. The shows  will mark Eels’ first in front of an audience since dropping their 13th studio album, ‘Earth To Dora’, with tickets on general sale at 9am on July 16.

Courteeners

Courteeners have lined up three warm up gigs in preparation for their huge concerts this summer, with stops planned at the O2 Academy Leicester, Stoke’s Victoria Hall and Halifax’s Victoria Theatre on September 7, 21, and 22, respectively. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on July 16.

The dates will take place ahead of their shows at Scarborough Open Air Theatre with The Coral, as well as their appearance at the rescheduled TRNSMT festival, and a huge homecoming concert the Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground with Johnny Marr, Blossoms, Zuzu, and The Big Moon.

Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes have announced plans to tour the UK and Ireland this autumn. The trek will support their upcoming album, ‘Sticky’, the follow-up to 2019’s ‘End Of Suffering’, due out on October 15. They also have a European tour in the dairy for early 2022, which kicks off with shows at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on January 21 and 22. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on July 16.

Aurora

The Norwegian singer-songwriter will embark on a UK and European tour beginning in Milan on February 13 and wrapping up at the O2 Academy Brixton in London on April 6. The UK and Ireland leg also includes stops in Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, Dublin, Manchester, Leeds and Bristol. St Vincent has announced the UK and European leg of the Daddy’s Home Tour, with stops planned in Ljubljana, Prague, Warsaw, Berlin, Cologne, Dublin, Edinburgh and London, where she’ll wrap up the trek with her biggest headline UK show to date at the Eventim Apollo on June 29. Tickets go on sale at 10am on July 9. The tour shares its name with Annie Clark’s most recent album, released in May.

Sabaton

The Swedish metallers have announced The Tour To End All Tours, with UK shows lined up at the SSE Arena Wembley, London on March 18, Leeds’ First Direct Arena the next day, Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena on March 20 and the SSE Hydro in Glasgow on March 22.

The trek also expands to cities across Europe, including stops in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Estonia and Finland. Tickets for the UK run go on general sale at 10am on July 9, while on sale dates vary for the European shows. They’ll be supported by The Hu and Lordi.

Due to demand, the American comic and actor will now play five nights at London’s Eventim Apollo, with the new gig falling on August 17. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on July 9.

The Warehouse Project

Organisers have confirmed further names for this year’s Warehouse Project, including Megan Thee Stallion (pictured), MigosEric Prydz, DrumcodeChase And Status, and Jamie XX, among many others. They join the previously revealed reopening acts; Nile Rodgers and CHIC, DJ Shadow, Andy C, and Carl Cox.

After 2020’s edition had to be cancelled, the series will return to Manchester’s 10,000 capacity Depot Mayfield from September. Head here for a calendar of gigs confirmed so far. Tickets for most of the newly confirmed shows go on general sale at 10am on July 9, except the Eric Prydz gig, which goes on sale at 9am.

We Are Scientists

We Are Scientists have announced the Come On Get Huffy Tour, with UK shows lined up in Sheffield, Leeds, Hull, Manchester, Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, Liverpool, Nottingham, Birmingham, Bristol, Brighton and London, where they’ll wrap up the run at the O2 Forum Kentish Town on December 9. Chrissie Hynde

The Pretenders vocalist will take over London’s Royal Opera House on July 29 and 30, followed by four nights at Edinburgh’s Queen’s Hall between August 22 and 25. The socially distanced concerts will see Hynde performing stripped back acoustic reworks of Bob Dylan songs, along with tracks from her own band’s back catalogue.

The announcement follows the release of her new covers LP honouring the legendary singer-songwriter, ‘Standing In The Doorway: Chrissie Hynde Sings Bob Dylan’. A companion film called Tomorrow Is A Long Time, which details the recording of the album, is also available via Sky Arts.
