Tour Of The Week: Basement And Joyce Manor

Basement will be joined by Joyce Manor for a UK this autumn. Basement tickets are on sale now, priced £16.00/£18.00 plus booking fees.

The Ipswich post-hardcore band took to Twitter last week to announce their first run of dates in a long time, with stops lined up in Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Birmingham, Southampton, Bristol and London, where they’ll perform at the O2 Forum. They also teased fans with a promise of new music from upcoming fourth album, ‘Beside Myself’, which will arrive on October 12 through Fueled By Ramen.

“We’re very excited to be returning to the UK for our first headliner in a long time and we’re bringing new music and our friends in Joyce Manor.”

Formed in 2009, Basement made their debut three years later with ‘I Wish I Could Stay Here’ on Run For Cover Records. The follow up arrived in the shape of ‘Colourmeinkindness’ before the band split in 2012, returning in 2014 with the release of their ‘Further Sky’ EP and their last full length, 2016’s ‘Promise Everything’.

Californian outfit Joyce Manor, meanwhile, recently announced the release of ‘Million Dollars to Kill Me’. Their fifth full length and the follow up to 2016’s ‘Cody’ was produced by Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou and is set to arrive on September 21 through Epitaph Records.
