This Week’s New Releases: Mariah Carey, Mumford & Sons And Smashing Pumpkins

Pop’s #1 diva, Mariah Carey, is back with a new album, Mumford and Sons are racking up LP #4, and the Smashing Pumpkins have returned with their first recording in over 18 years to feature founding members Billy Corgan, James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin. Longtime guitarist for the band Jeff Schroeder, bassist Jack Bates and keyboardist Katie Cole complete the line up.

Counting Crows will perform at BluesFest at London’s O2 Arena on October 28, where they will be supported by Alison Krauss. Tickets go on sale at 9am on June 22.

THE WAR ON DRUGS

The band, who released ‘A Deeper Understanding’ last summer, will return to play their only UK headline show this year at London’s O2 Arena on December 13 with special guests Slowdive. Tickets go on sale at 10am on June 22.

BOYZONE

The pop group will bring their Thank You And Goodnight – The Farewell tour to arenas in Belfast, Dublin, Glasgow, Liverpool, Nottingham, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Cardiff, Brighton, London, Birmingham, and Bournemouth between January 23 and February 9. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on June 22.

DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE
